US Equestrian has announced its team of four to contest the CCIO4*-S Nations Cup at CHIO Aachen (2-5 July) in Germany, with two former Aussies named.
Five Australian eventers are competing with 14 horses across four international classes at Millstreet in Ireland (29 May - 1 June).
Dressage star Melissa Galloway – an Olympic, World Championship and World Cup Final representative for New Zealand – was recently in South Australia to deliver a clinic and masterclass for Dressage South Australia Squad riders.
With over $950,000 in prize money on offer, including the prestigious Futurity Champion title, the event draws top riders, breeders, and spectators from across the country and overseas.
Australian Hilary Scott and 17-year-old mare Oaks Milky Way finished on the podium in the $116,050 (USD) Grand Prix in Canada.
The acceptance lists for Melbourne International Three-Day Event (5-9 June) have been released, with the headline CCI4*L class featuring 13 combinations – including Olympians and a previous winner.
An all-female Australian team will be in action on Friday in England, as day two of the dressage gets underway for the CCIO4*S Nations Cup at Bicton.
